Preliminary examinations are objective, while the main exam is theoretical in nature. The preliminary examination takes place in May/June and the main examination in November/ December. The personal interviews take place in April of next year and the selected candidates are informed of the dates of their interviews by post. The preliminary examination tests your knowledge in the subject of your choice and in your general studies. After passing the preliminary examination, you must appear on the written examination. This exam is based on theory and consists of the following:

• All Indian language (300 points)

• English language (300 marks)

• Essay (300 marks)

• General studies (300 marks)

• Two subjects of your choice (300 points each)

• Personal interview
