IAN Fund leads Rs 12.4 crore funding in Nocca Robotics

Nocca Robotics which is a Pune based company has now secured INR 12.4 crore in the funding round led by the early-stage investor IAN Fund.

Angel investors from the Indian Angel Network also participated in the round, according to the report which has been revealed.

Nocca Robotics will now be going to use the funds to set up a manufacturing facility for robots with much more improved quality control. The company will also use the funding to bolster its research and development and strengthen the team of production.

Nocca Robotics was founded by the IIT Kanpur graduates Nikhil Kurele and Harshit Rathore in the year 2017.

The startup uses technologies like machine learning, Artificial Intelligence, deep learning, and robotics to offer the automated, waterless, and shareable solar panel cleaning solution for the utility-scale solar parks.

With the help of this solution, Nocca is even aiming to address the sustainability challenge of solar energy operations. Cleaning solar panels are not only expensive but also comes with the high cost of environmental.
