LinkedIn Local launched its first chapter in Mumbai,EE and TYDIdeas are the community partners

LinkedIn Local Mumbai launched its first chapter LinkedIn local Juhu on 28 August 2019 at Savage bar & kitchen Juhu. Entrepreneur Excel and TYDIdeas were the community partners and was headed by Namrata Thakker, Tarranum Dobriyal, Durgaprasad Agarwal.

Linkedin Local is an initiative that enables to know the people behind the LinkedIn profiles! #ConnectingHumans Linkedin Local is a meetup concept with a difference. It allows you to connect with your LinkedInNetwork offline in your local area, and create meaningful interactions without the fear of being pitched to or sold at. These meets are conducted on monthly basis and with a theme.The Juhu Meet was based on the theme “Community building is important” and was hosted with a Panel discussion. The speakers for the day were Archana Kochhar, Sampath k Iyengar, Mona Kanakia Sheth, Bhavesh Kothari with Moderator as Tarranum Dobriyal. Discussion was around :

  • Why community building is essential in today’s time?
  • What is their personal experience with community building or association?
  • Why would they support this cause?

The panel discussion lasted for around 1hr 10 min with engrossed attendees taking the insights mindfully. Followed by question & answer session. Few attendees had enthusiastically asked their queries to the speakers. Speakers were felicitated by our gifting partners with their love in form gifts by Zenobia Khodaiji and Bharat Rathod (Vardan Jewellers). We are grateful to our photographers Pravin Maniar & Rohit Homkar to capture every moment with beautiful memories.

Enthusiastic attendees took pics and selfies with the speakers and fellow members and they all got engaged in open networking. Exchanging cards, chatting in groups and one on one was all over the venue.

Linkedin Local Mumbai launch pad chapter was a big hit with 75+ attendees attending and benefitting from the thought provoking discussion. Videos and Facebook lives were recorded and posted by many members. Loads of pictures with happy faces were doing rounds on Facebook.

Linkedin Local Mumbai is coming up with few more chapters like Andheri, Khar, Bandra, Powai, Navi Mumbai and many more. It is a great way to go Online to Offline and see face behind the profiles.
