An old student of the University of Mumbai, and St. Stanislaus High School, he launched revmerito in January 2017 to cater to knowledge-based services and solutions for Hotels globally.      In the span of just five years, the company is managing the portfolio of 100 plus Hotels across India ranging from 3, 4 and 5-star segments. The company is located in Vasai, Maharashtra, India, and the company target hotels in Pan India.

    There is an interesting story behind the launch of this company.  According to Vishal, he realized that stand-alone hotels did not have expertise and knowledge about online revenue optimization. So the idea was to start this firm and get the hotels to outsource their online business to the company. It took nearly one and half years to two years between the conceptualization of the company and its launch. The company offers online revenue management, online reputation management, GDS IDS Management, and E- Distribution.

    The company measures productivity on the basis of revenue generated annually V/s revenue generated in the past year. Retainer Fee on a monthly basis is the company’s revenue model. The company is working closely with STAAH brand as a collaborative business model.

    According to Vishal, pricing, and Bouquet of services are the advantages of his company. “My dream is to become one of the most preferred online revenue management companies globally,” says Vishal.

    When asked about where he wants to see his company in the next ten years. Vishal says he wants to expand the company’s footprint to at least 10 countries. The company’s core employee values include good communication skills, analytical approach, humility and truthfulness.

    Vishal, who considers Ratan Tata as his inspiration says the biggest challenge of his five year’s journey as the head of the company is funding and certain directors in the organization decided to quit in the early stages of company formation, “However I decided to take the brand further and scale up the business in a bootstrap scenario,” he says.

    Vishal says he measures his success on the basis of positive feedback about the company from all his business partners and employees. “Don’t shy away from converting your dreams into reality, if you have an idea which can transform your and your client’s business into 5X returns just go for it,” he suggests to the new entrepreneurs.
