Shri. Bhardwaj holds a Masters in International Trade. After serving for almost a decade in Private Sector in international trade, he moved on to take up the challenge of leading a national federation of SME sector. His specializations include industrial and trade policy issues and framework conditions of promotional and regulatory. He has advised and worked on several SME development projects supported by Govt. of India, ILO, UNCTAD, UNIDO, UNDP, UNESCAP, ITC & UNCTAD (Geneva), UNDP, ADB, Asian Productivity Council (Tokyo), EU, DFID, GTZ, Commonwealth (London) among others. Environment for SMEs and Market Access issues of MSMEs Multilateral Trade Negotiations (such as WTO) and at Regional Trade Agreements.

Furthermore, he was founder member of IBF, CII at Shanghai. Also represented and part of Indian Companies at India Pavilion at World Expo 2010 at Shanghai. He is Chairman of Arunaya Organics Pvt. Ltd. He is part of many Gujarat State Taskforces of CII. Furthermore, he was also part of the Legal Committee of GDMA. At present, he is Vice Chairman, CII Gujarat State Council”
