Storymakers in Education- Honours and Awards – 2022

India has a rich tradition and culture of Storytelling and our ancient Gurukul form of education had storytelling and creative exploration at the heart of teaching and learning. However, over a period of time, things changed dramatically. And of late,  It is not every day that the Early Years teachers, the grassroots level educators, the creative arts and music-based educators, the storytellers, get acknowledged for their deep contribution towards developing the love for learning in students.

On March 20th, The World Storytelling Day, StorycircleEdusaarthi along with CII_Young Indians Chapter came together to appreciate, felicitate and motivate these very heroes from the World of education, through their unique initiative and platform called “STORYMAKERS IN EDUCATION- Honours and Awards- 2022”. This event saw the participation of educators from all over Gujarat, from all types of private and public schools, and teachers and principals from some of the smallest villages and towns in our state.

The Chief Guest Mr. Hiranmay Mahanta, CEO- I-hub, encouraged the educators with his inspiring words and applauded the efforts of StorycircleEdusaarthi Founder- Ms.Yogita Ahuja’s mission and CII Young Indians– Ahmedabad Chapter’s Chair and Co-Chair- Mr. Tejas Shah and Mr. Jalay Pandya’s efforts for acknowledging and appreciating the grassroots level educators who with their passion, innovation, and self-motivation, are bringing change at the ground level.

The event saw credible institutions like MYFM 94.3, VyapaarJagat TV, and Business Mantra support the initiative in the public interest, solely with the purpose of enabling the nation shapers- our educators and unsung heroes to be recognized for their hard work and relentless efforts with children.

As a nation, when we celebrate our educators, we encourage them to do more, be more, and give more as our nation’s ‘Future’ shapers.
