With products handmade mostly by women. eCraftIndia is creating a socio-sustainable business model, catering its primary activities around educating, employing and empowering women.

About Rahul Jain

Rahul Jain is a serial entrepreneur and at the age of 31, has successfully established multiple brands in the space of Home Décor/Handicrafts and Ethnic Wear.

With a work experience in JP Morgan chase as a Software Engineer and Scrum Master, he launched his first company in the year 2014, naming it eCraftIndia. The company is into Home Décor, Handicrafts and Home Furnishing.  In a quest to bring to the fore, hidden jewels (works of Indian artisans and craftsmen ) from rural villages and small towns across the country, Rahul Jain along with 2 partners, built an ecommerce platform , the largest online store for Indian handicrafts and quirky home décor.

This young social-preneur is not only bustling with new business ideas, but is also a perfectionist when it comes to their execution. Rahul has been a firm believer that use of superior technology is key to creating enriching customer experience. A software Engineer by qualification, all his ventures have highly automated processes to ensure error free delivery at each consumer checkpoint. “Technology has the power to solve complex problems and if you know how to deploy it, then the world is your digital canvas”, says the techie.

Rahul has been involved in setting up free medical camps in his hometown-Jaipur. His constant endeavour is to build a sustainable business ecosystem, thereby, strengthening the India economy by creating employment opportunities for the youth of the country. He loves to travel and discover new places, as he also takes keen interest in adventure. Rahul also sees developing new businesses, undertaking challenges and exploring the realms of the business world as his adventurous expeditions!
